What is VoIP?
VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. Instead of sending your voice down a copper telephone line, a VoIP phone system converts it to data and sends it over your internet connection. The number, the call routing and the voicemail all live in the cloud rather than in a box on your wall.
